As Burns Night approaches, we can’t help but take a moment to celebrate the poetry, tradition, and, of course, whisky that make Scotland so iconic. And since it’s our team here at Jackton Distillery leading the charge, we think it’s only fair to raise a glass to ourselves—a bunch of bold, brilliant lassies crafting whisky with a modern twist.

We’re not just making drams; we’re breaking traditions (in the best way). Long gone are the days when whisky was all about old guys in tweed jackets grumbling by the fire. Whisky is for everyone, and we’re here to prove it. From farming our own barley to crafting Raer Whisky with bespoke copper stills, we’re balancing tradition with a fresh perspective-because why not shake things up?

This Burns Night, we’re raising a glass to all the women out there who, like us, are taking whisky in a new direction. It’s about time more lassies got in on the action. Let’s be real: Burns himself would’ve loved what we’re doing. He’d probably be scribbling poems about our team – and sipping Raer Whisky while he was at it.

Here’s a wee toast we think he might have written for us:

“Here’s tae the lassies, wi’ strength and flair,
They craft us whisky beyond compare.
May their glasses be full and their spirits be high,
For it’s Jackton’s ladies who catch the eye!”
