OUR STORY

We began our pursuit of Single Malt Scotch Whisky perfection in 2020, laying down our first cask in February of that year. We are a distillery with big ambitions and already RAER have created award winning spirits.

Our distillery is still growing and we are in the process of building our own on-site maltings facility. Our exceptional new make spirit is currently produced using locally malted Scottish grown barley while our own barley is growing in the fields of Jackton Estate. We are on the path to providing you with a true seed to spirit experience.

Welcome to Jackton Distillery, home of Raer Spirits where tradition meets bold innovation! As a young, female-led family distillery, we’re here to shake up the whisky world, blending Scottish heritage with a fresh, daring approach to craft spirits.

On 12th February 2020, our RAER team filled its first cask, marking the beginning of our Single Malt Scotch Whisky journey. This moment was more than just a milestone; it was a promise of things to come. Since then, we’ve sought out the highest-quality casks from around the world, allowing our new make spirit to rest and mature, absorbing the depth, character, and richness of the oak barrels that held it. While we patiently await the maturity of our ‘Water of Life,’ our dedicated team continues to craft exciting additions to our range, capturing Scotland’s soul in every spirit.

Whilst we give our casks time to mature, we have launched a multi award winning, masterfully blended, RAER Blended Scotch Whisky with enticing notes of citrus and caramel—a whisky that’s perfect neat but also versatile enough for cocktails. Our Jackton Vodka is no less remarkable. A Great Taste Award winner, it boasts an exceptionally clean, smooth profile crafted from local ingredients, making it as refined in cocktails as it is sipped solo.

Our gin range embodies our playful, refined approach to Scottish craft. Jackton Gin is a juniper-forward delight, balanced with a peppery, fruity edge that makes it ideal for a classic G&T. Jackton Rose Gin adds a delicate floral note, perfect for those seeking a unique twist. And for a toast as special as the gin itself, Something Blue Gin is designed with weddings and life’s biggest celebrations in mind—a nod to love, new beginnings, and cherished memories.

Our trio of whisky expression blends round out the collection, each carefully aged in sherry casks for a taste that’s deep, complex, and unapologetically bold. With two of these blends winning gold at the Scottish Whisky Awards, we’re proving that young doesn’t mean inexperienced—it means fearless.

Crafted sustainably with our own barley and pure Scottish water, our spirits are a reflection of our “grain to glass” commitment.
